This is a historically accurate, battle ready replica of a 10th Century Viking sword. Hand forged from 5160 spring steel the 30” hand polished blade has been hardened and tempered to around 58 RHC. The upper and lower guards were hand forged from mild steel and boast a filed design common on 10th century Norse swords. The beautiful three lobed pommel balances the blade and the teak wood hilt is comfortable and durable. Overall this is a very fine piece of art that is both beautiful and functional as well as accurately representing the style of sword used by the Vikings.
